Active listening is hearing the sounds all around you and the person who is talking so really you’re paying attention to someone.
To me active listening means focusing on the person who is talking and all the stuff that is making sounds.
To be a better active listener I will have to concentrate on the person who is talking and carefully understand what they’re saying.
